The roof was less than 18 months old (not put on by Jayhawk which I now regret). Jayhawk was out within two hours of me calling them for help (during the rain). The company who put the roof on did not even try to help for three days. Jayhawk Exteriors came out and diverted the water to keep my ceiling from falling in. The worker who came out was extremely nice, professional, and did not seem put out to have to come out in the rain. Member Comments: From the time I called Jayhawk Exteriors to the time they left, the service was nothing short of SUPERIOR!! From Mike to Chili to Ryan who actually came out, they were all professional, courteous, and easy to deal with! Griffin Residence: 764 Helmsdale Way, Chesapeake VA - I wanted to drop you a note to let you know my thoughts in reference to the roofing project completed at my residence. First I would like to say thanks to James "Chili" Howerin. He was very prompt on the appointed time for the review and estimate for replacing the roof. In addition he was very helpful in making decisions with his knowledge of various roofs and materials. I also was very impressed with the coordination of the operation. By this I mean the delivery of the container for removed shingles and trash and the crew arrival for the project. Both were prompt. The crew was well coordinated in that each one knew what his duties were and performed them without hesitation and I must say they work hard on a very hot day and completed the task of removing the old roof and applying the new all within a time frame of eight hours and this included the clean up time, and I mean clean. Not a nail or shingle scrap left. Great job. Also the crew was very respectful of the neighborhood in that the only noise heard was that of the hammers. I will recommend this company to anyone based upon my experience. Thanks for a great job and feel free to refer my house roof to anyone that needs to see examples of your projects.
